 The project was a a twelve-month university extension project dedicated to systematizing academic works already produced about Terecô, creating a digital platform for consultation, and promoting dialogue with institutions in Codó that work with local cultural heritage and social memory. The project develops activities and debates around the preservation of cultural and religious heritage, as well as tools for disseminating the research produced on Terecô. As a university extension project, it seeks to bring the academic space closer to the sociocultural, historical, and political context in which it is located.

The archive supports school and university research on themes related to Terecô in the fields of Cultural Studies, Anthropology, Museology, Archival Studies, and History. It also promotes dialogue between students from multiple disciplines, strengthening the circulation, visibility, and development of their research. The project aims to facilitate an ongoing process of exchange and dissemination of information about Terecô. Through the creation of an archive, the sharing of materials through digital platforms, and the training of teachers, the project supports institutional and political processes of memorialization.
